Here is a list of needed supplies for your upcoming birth.
Please have all items ready and in a convenient location for your 36-week home visit.

Home birth kit purchased through Precious Arrows. Choose either Water Birth Kit or Standard Birth Kit for Lake City Birth. If you plan to have a water birth in your own tub, you do not need to purchase the water birth kit.

• Purchased birth kit
• 2 sets of clean sheets
• 8-10 clean towels (bath & beach sized)
• 2 plastic sheets (shower curtain, painter’s drop cloth, etc.)
• 2 plastic garbage bags
• Heating pad, rice sock, or hot water bottle
• Candles, music, camera, massage oils, etc. (optional)
• Electrolyte drink (re-charge, Gatorade, coconut water, juice ice chips, emergen-c, Labor-aid )
• Protein snacks, mom’s favorite foods, quick energy snacks for family and birth team
• Variety of pillows – all sizes
• Thermometer
• Large soup pot
• 8 to 10 washcloths
• Olive and/or coconut oil
• 2 gallon-sized ziplock bags
• Baby (receiving) blankets – make sure these are not your best blankets (they may get pooped on!)
• Overnight menstrual pads, Depends pants if desired
• Roll of paper towels
• Hydrogen peroxide
• Bowl for the placenta
