The best midwife you can find!

Thank you so much for helping me bring baby Rebecca into her postwomb life. After nine hospital births it was a wonderful experience for the entire family to be able to have her at home. Really appreciate all the special care you provided during a less than ideal pregnancy.

Angie was amazing! During my whole pregnancy they were kind and Angie never pushed or even suggested induction methods even though I tend to go “overdue” she was patient with my body which I treasure. She was more than okay with no cervical checks but offered to do them if I wanted. At the birth her patience really showed as it was much longer than I had anticipated based off my other births. I wanted to catch my own baby and she respected and remembered that! I didn’t want any cord traction and she was patient with that until I asked for help and then she did. Angie is extremely well educated with experience and knowledge, I fully trust her, she is a gem of a midwife. If you get the chance to hire her for your birth team- do it!

Angie is fantastic! She is very well knowledged and skilled in her profession and nice to talk to as well. I had complete confidence in her to help assist my first home birth. In my situation I was unable to birth completely on my own and Angie stepped in to make my dream of home birth come true. I am sure not a situation she comes across very often but she knew exactly what to do and got the job done. If we decide to have a 4th child, I would love for her to be my midwife again.

How do you sum up such an incredible human in one short review? Sometimes you meet people and you immediately know that God created them for a specific purpose. Angie was made to be a midwife. She cares so deeply about mamas and it is so evident in the way she treats you. You are not just a “patient” or a “number” to Angie, but a human with a soul that she gets to know throughout your pregnancy. Not only is she a wonderful person, but she is a beautifully skilled and educated midwife. She answered my millions of questions about which supplements I should be taking and my late night texts about every little worry I had. There were so many times I doubted my ability to have a VBAC, but Angie never once doubted that I was capable which gave me so much hope and confidence in myself. Throughout labor, she was such a comfort to me. She spoke words of encouragement to my weary spirit and prayed over me when I wanted to give up. She also put cool cloths on my head and did hip squeezes to give my doula a break After my VBAC (!!!!), Angie took incredible care of me. She even popped in a few extra times when I was worried about my stitches and healing. She went above and beyond anything I could’ve ever hoped for in a midwife, and she has become such a dear friend to me throughout the process. I can’t recommend Angie enough. You will never regret hiring her as your midwife.

I love this midwife and I would recommend her to every expecting mom in her area! She is amazing!

We had the most amazing experience with our two home births with Angie! Can’t say enough amazing things about these awesome, experienced midwives! After having my first two children in the hospital, my experience with Angie was SO peaceful and incredible!

The care and attention I received from Angie was spectacular. Every appointment was filled with detailed info and it all took place at our house. she was quick to respond when I went into labor and got there fast. She was great with our new baby and also very attentive to our older child. Lake city birth is the only reason I would consider having another child.

I’m so thankful for her recommendation of Ms. Angie! She is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Midwife! I love the relationship we’ve built in just the short 14 weeks since I’ve met her. Oh and it might just be a plus that she comes to my home, treats me so wonderfully, and that I may have been in PJs at this last appt.! Lol I would highly recommend her to anyone!

My sweet midwife, Angie is and always will be one of the most special people in my life. I will forever cherish my prenatal visits and birth experience. It was the most amazing, life altering experience of my life, and she made it all possible. Before I had any babies, my dream was to have an unmedicated birth in a hospital. I admired women who birthed at home, but I didn’t think I was brave enough to have a homebirth myself. When I had to have an emergency C-section with my first son, an unmedicated birth was no longer an option at my local hospital. So I looked into homebirth and met with Angie. After our first meeting, I knew I wanted to have a homebirth and I knew I NEEDED Angie as my midwife. There is no comparison in midwife and “midwife” care. Instead of dragging my son to the OB’s office, Angie drove out of her way and I was able to stay in the comfort of my own home. Instead of waiting way too long to be seen just to be rushed through my appointment, Angie took her time and got to know me and my family. I can’t tell you how many hours she spent just playing with my son while I propped my pregnant feet up. Instead of telling me what I “have” to do, Angie gave me informed choices. Instead of building fear around birth, Angie built courage. Did I mention that I didn’t have the have the dreaded orange drink and I got a belly massage every visit? When is comes to comparing the births, I don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll save that for another day. I really don’t understand why having a true midwife isn’t more popular. We love and miss you Angie!

I have had 2 amazing, smooth, incredibly rewarding and empowering home births, both with Angie. She is the perfect combination of professional and friendly; involved yet giving you space; informative yet respecting of your decisions. I highly, highly recommend having her as your midwife! If i ever were tio have a third child, she's the one I'm calling!

Angie is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!! She was three for me with my second child, my second labor took longer than I was thinking, Angie was there for me every step of the way and never once got impatient, she was so calm throughout the process, if you ever have any questions she is always there, you can text her at anytime with any questions and she will answer you, there was the time in my pregnancy I had to stay the night at the hospital, I called Angie and told her everything was ok and I will be out oh the hospital the next morning, she could have stayed home because everything was fine, but no she went out of her way to the hospital just to talk to me in person and comfort me even though she knew everything was fine, so many times she went above and beyond out of her way for me, there also was a time in my pregnancy I needed something from the pharmacy and I was planning to get it the next day, Angie literally dropped it off at my door within that day, she is the best MidWife I have ever had!!!! There are so many more things I could go on and on about her but that will literally take a book, give her a call and try her out, you won't be disappointed!

Angie made my dream of birthing at home for the first time, without fear, a reality! I felt comfortable and relaxed with her throughout my prenatal visits and the birth. Her experience and expertise put me at ease with all my doubts and questions. You can tell she loves what she does and has a passion for midwifery and babies. I will be using her again with my next pregnancy!

After Angie delivered my 3rd child (my first girl) and did such a wonderful job, when my husband and I became pregnant with out 4th we didn't have any questions about how we were going to deliver. After finding that she did home deliveries and appointments I was overjoyed!!!! I loved the convenience of being in the privacy of my own home for my appointments and when it was time for my birth I didn't have to leave at all. She was compassionate, gentle and patient. Even during the times when my house was "not up to par" due to me being exhausted she never showed me anything but love and she quickly became family and made herself at home...I loved the care and love that I received from her!!!!

Angie is just fantastic at what she does as a homebirth provider. I couldn’t have felt more comfortable with her than if she was one of my own family members. She was extremely attentive to both of us. Now that Michael has been born, my regret is I won’t get to see Angie’s smiling face and sweet personality. The Lake City area is extremely fortunate to have midwife Angie Fennell available to care for mamas and babies there! Angie is capable and competent, but, just as importantly, she has a rare devotion to and compassion for women as they carry their babies, in labor and as they give birth.
